How many packs do I need?
It is personal preference on how dense you'd like to create your pattern. One pack usually covers on average around 4 - 5 sq m at a similar density to the images on the website. If you are ordering stencils please measure how many ms of wall you need to paint and then multiply by 2. For example if you have 5m of wall to paint you will need a pack of 10 stencils.
Are your stickers removal and reusable?
Removable - yes! if you had a good, well cured painted surface when you applied them they should remove with no damage.
Reusable - no! They are not designed to be reused as the adhesive is low tack in order to protect walls and wouldn't adhere again to another surface well.
Are the materials recyclable?
We use fully recyclable packaging for your order. The sticker's material is PVC-free vinyl, which is made from Polyester, PP (polypropylene) and PET (polythene terephthalate) which is 100% recyclable, and recycled variants of these materials have plenty of use cases.
Are your stickers safe for bedrooms and nurseries of children?
All of our stickers are made with PVC- free vinyl, and printed stickers are printed with non solvent inks, making them odourless and safe to use in children's bedrooms.
Are your images and designs protected by copyright?
All artwork is protected by copyright and is the property of Hayley Hall of Eliza Doodle Designs Ltd. Any reproduction of Eliza Doodle's prints, photos and text is strictly prohibited. Unless agreed by Hayley Hall any re-sale of Eliza Doodle's products for profitable gain is prohibited.

Do they come with instructions?
Yes, Eliza Doodle's wall stickers and stencils come with instructions on how to apply them to the wall. All of our decals are "free hand" which means they can be placed anywhere on the wall without a template to follow, and our images on this website are suggestions of how they can be used and are not to scale.
Eliza Doodle can not be held responsible for mistakes when applying the wall stickers which may damage the stickers or your wall. Please note this includes the removing and replacing of stickers which will reduce the adhesive. If the stickers become less sticky over time we will not be held responsible for this.
If you feel you are not sure how to apply the stickers after reading the instructions please contact us via our this website and we will be happy to help.
What will they stick to?
It is the buyer's responsibility to prep the walls in preparation for the stickers to be applied. This means the wall must be smooth. The wall must be dry and clean and free from dust and grease.
Our vinyl stickers will not stick to:
The following (but not exclusively) paint types:
Damage to walls is likely to occur on:
- Teflon paint
- Wash & Wear paint
- Low VOC paint
- Paint with silicon
- Satin paint
- Eggshell paint
- Paints with a sheen
- Valspar Premium
- Old flaky painted surfaces
- Newly painted surfaces (Please wait approx 2 - 4 weeks for curing)
- High humidity and fluctuating temperatures (example over a radiator)
Every order has the vinyl tested before it leaves our studio to ensure the adhesive is as it should be. Therefore Eliza Doodle accepts no responsibility for stickers becoming less tacky as this will be due to the environment or the removing and replacing of the stickers.
Do you provide a test piece of vinyl?
Yes we do. You will find a test piece of vinyl in your box. Please use this to stick to the surface you plan to use your stickers on. We want to ensure your happy walls are created with ease and success, therefore we advise you to apply the test strips to your chosen surface to check if it is suitable for the vinyl. Leave in situ for 2 - 3 days before using the products. Different surfaces and paint types can prevent the vinyl from sticking. Pease see the list above for paints that are known to cause issues with sticking. This list is not exclusive. Should your test strips be unsuccessful please return the product for a refund. Should you choose not to use the testers Eliza Doodle Designs can not be responsible for incompatible paints and surfaces.
Do you have any tips for applying stencils?
Waiting for freshly painted walls to cure before applying these stencils is our advice.
- In order to get a sharp finish it is really important to push each edge of every arc down firmly to seal the stencil to the wall.
- Only paint downwards to avoid paint being pushed up underneath the stencil.
- We recommend sticking a small piece of the vinyl to your wall to check adherence and removal before you begin.
- Use standard matt emulsion
- Do not leave the stencil on for more than 2 hours. Apply top coat when first coat is just touch dry. As soon as top coat is on remove immediately when the paint is wet.
- Pull your stencil in a downwards motion.
What if there is some damage to my wall?
As with applying any adhesive to a painted wall there is always a risk of damaging existing paintwork.
It is at the customers' own risk to adhere any Eliza Doodle product to painted walls.
Eliza Doodle will not be held responsible for damage to walls when our products are removed.
Damage to walls is unlikely, however, the condition of painted surfaces varies and Eliza Doodle Designs Ltd can not guarantee mess-free removal on every wall. No refunds will be given for damage to painted walls once products are removed.
